Job Description

This position performs serving activities with primary responsibility for greeting guests in a timely manner; making suggestions regarding menu items; taking and delivering orders; checking regularly for guests' needs; and collecting payment for all food and beverages served.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greets guests in a timely manner, takes orders, monitors alcohol consumption, serves food and beverages according to company service standards. Requests proper identification from guests purchasing alcoholic beverages when legal age is questionable (under the age of 30). Thoroughly knowledgeable on the menu, daily specials, and beverages. Monitors and observes guests' dining experience to respond to additional needs or requests. Enters orders into POS, maintains accurate guests cover counts, totals receipts correctly, verifies sales, and collects payment for all food and beverages served. Performs all duties on the server checklist. Complies with company, local, state, and national regulations pertaining to food quality, cleanliness and sanitation standards, alcohol service, and safety. Completes all other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 6
months related experience in a high-volume, high energy, food and beverage environment. Availability to work nights and weekends as needed. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to position self to move about. The employee frequently is required to operate and use server station tools and equipment; and communicate with guests, employees, and management. The employee must move up to 30 pounds frequently. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
