Overview We are seeking a dedicated Food Runner to join our skyline restaurant team. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and efficiently, enhancing their dining experience. This position requires communication skills, guest services, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods. Ensure that all food items are presented beautifully and accurately according to the order. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area and dining room. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow. Help with food preparation as needed, including assisting cooks during peak times. Adhere to food handling and safety standards at all times. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly. Skills Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Experience in food preparation or restaurant settings is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and guests. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar restaurant management systems is a plus. Capability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
