Job Description

Job Summary:
Responsible for providing drink service in the outlet while ensuring guests are properly served and ensuring all policies and procedures regarding alcohol dispensing are followed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain all special promotions. Take orders, reciting selection of all call and premium brands as requested, requires memorization of all available drinks. Input orders into point-of-sale system to inform bartender an order was placed. Replenish beverages as requested, frequently checking back with guests to inquire about satisfaction. Deliver beverages accurately to patrons while ensuring proper payment. Check and maintain proper setup and cleanliness of service station before, during and after shift. Always maintain cleanliness of guest areas including removing empty glasses/bottles and cleaning ashtrays. Confirm age compliance by checking the identification of any individual ordering alcoholic beverages. Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to read, write, and understand instructions. Basic math skills specific to position responsibilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to operate a point-of-sale system. Ability to obtain a Wyoming Gaming Commission work permit.
Education and Experience:
Highschool diploma or GED Able certification One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Wyoming Horse Racing offers competitive wages, Medical, Dental and Vision insurance plus paid time off. Successful candidates must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass pre-employment drug screen Starting pay $9.00/hour.
