Duties Greet guests with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, making them feel comfortable and appreciated Manage reservation bookings and waitlists efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow and reduce wait times, ensuring a smooth dining experience Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their visit Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and waiting area Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest service and timely seating Skills Previous experience as a Host or Hostess in food service or restaurant settings preferred Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for reservation management Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and poise Familiarity with hotel or guest services experience is a plus Exceptional phone etiquette and guest relations abilities to foster positive interactions This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive on creating memorable guest experiences.
