Hotel Front Desk Agent

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team at the brand new Home2 Suites by Hilton-Bastrop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process, and maintaining the overall hospitality experience for our guests. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring accuracy in guest accounts. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and care. Provide information about the resort's amenities, services, and local attractions. Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked. Utilize phone systems to manage reservations and communicate with other departments effectively. Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any guest needs promptly. Assist in training new front desk staff members as needed. Requirements Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Knowledge of hotel management software or property management systems is an advantage. Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to enhance communication with diverse guests. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully. Excellent phone etiquette and familiarity with phone systems for effective communication. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment. A background in hospitality management or related fields is a plus. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
