Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures to uphold high standards of hygiene. Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining cleanliness in hallways and common areas. Restock amenities like towels, toiletries, linens, and other supplies to ensure guest needs are met promptly. Maintain cleanliness of public spaces including lobbies, elevators, stairwells, and restrooms to create a pristine environment. Follow safety protocols for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe workplace for yourself and colleagues. Report maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate departments for prompt resolution. Adhere to hotel policies regarding confidentiality, security procedures, and guest privacy while performing duties. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning or custodial work within hotels or similar hospitality environments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, sanitation practices, and industrial cleaning methods. Ability to operate various janitorial equipment such as vacuums, buffers, carpet cleaners, and steamers efficiently. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards across all areas. Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably. Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and customer service principles is a plus. Prior housekeeping management experience is advantageous but not required; a positive attitude and team spirit are essential.
