Contract Carriers with their own DOT and MC numbers

Overview We are seeking experienced Contract Carriers who possess their own 24/26 foot truck with a lift gate , DOT and MC numbers to join our logistics team. This role involves managing delivery routes, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs, and providing exceptional customer service. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in commercial driving, warehouse operations, and vehicle handling, with the ability to operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles efficiently. This position offers the flexibility of independent operation while supporting the company's commitment to reliable transportation services. 8 to 10 hour days Monday through Friday Driver only Warehouse to warehouse Lease or own 24/26 foot truck with lift gate Responsibilities Safely operate trucks and other commercial vehicles to execute scheduled deliveries and pickups across designated routes Load and unload cargo utilizing forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques as needed Manage route driving efficiently, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing any concerns professionally Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in accordance with company policies Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including heavy lifting protocols and proper use of equipment Requirements Possession of licensed 24/26 foot truck with lift gate Possession of valid DOT and MC numbers with active registration Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery operations Strong knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and safety regulations Customer service skills with a professional demeanor during interactions with clients Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work independently on scheduled routes while maintaining punctuality and safety standards

Pay:

$600.00 - $650.00 per day
