Hotel Housekeeper - Part Time

Job Summary Join our summer hospitality team as a Part-Time Hotel Housekeeper, where your attention to detail and passion for cleanliness will create a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces to ensure a pristine environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and restocking supplies. Perform floor care tasks including carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and waxing to preserve the appearance and safety of all flooring types. Handle janitorial tasks efficiently by managing waste disposal, replenishing amenities, and ensuring all cleaning equipment is properly maintained. Assist with special cleaning projects like industrial cleaning or deep cleans of specific areas as needed to uphold high standards of hygiene. Collaborate with the housekeeping management team to report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and guests. Qualifications Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial work is highly preferred; familiarity with hospitality standards is a plus. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and janitorial equipment operation. Experience with industrial cleaning or large-scale custodial projects is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices. Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is beneficial but not required.
