Hotel Maintenance Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

New Hotel Collection has an immediate need for an experienced, committed, and hardworking Maintenance person to join our growing family-owned company to manage two resorts located in Indian Rocks Beach / Indian Shores. Our ideal candidates are skilled problem solvers who will play an important role in keeping our resorts functioning to our high-quality standards. We need a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks and repairs. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. Responsibilities Perform fixes such as repairing broken locks, fixing plumbing and electrical issues, etc. Drywall and surface repairs to guestrooms. Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues Install or repair appliances and equipment Conducts routine Preventive Maintenance tasks. Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. HVAC/ ventilation) Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm) Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations Report to a maintenance supervisor for complex issues Skills Proven experience as a maintenance engineer. Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems Experience using hand and electrical tools Ability to read technical manuals and drawings Very good communication and interpersonal skills Physical stamina and dexterity High school diploma or equivalent Must have reliable transportation and proven attendance track record.

Sun-Mon-1:30PM-10

PM, Tues-Thursday:

7AM-3:30PM Pay is firm at $17.00 per hour Holidays Weekend availability
