In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of hotel facilities and equipment, from electrical systems to plumbing, HVAC, and building structures. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections of guest rooms and hotel facilities Complete preventative maintenance tasks on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff Repair drywall, paint, flooring, lighting, fixtures, and appliances Maintain pool, fitness center, and exterior grounds when applicable Ensure compliance with safety and company standards Assist with emergency repairs and after-hours maintenance calls Keep maintenance logs and inventory organized Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and building infrastructure to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), electrical circuits, welding tasks, and residential painting projects. Read schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to accurately diagnose problems and implement effective solutions. Utilize tools to track maintenance activities and inventory. Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, including repairs or mechanical upgrades, ensuring safety standards are met. Coordinate with GM and vendors / contractors for specialized repairs or installations while maintaining high standards of customer service. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety checks for compliance purposes. Must be able to successfully perform any general maintenance repairs from drywall, to painting, to toilet maintenance, PTAC maintenance and replacement, to painting, general plumbing, general electric, etc. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds Must be able to communicate with Hotel Managers to coordinate maintenance needs, such as tools, replacement parts or repairs, etc. Must be able to maintain maintenance office Must be able to maintain general pool maintenance and upkeep alongside EcoLab. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance and manufacturing environments. Proficiency with schematics, electrical systems, and troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters. Hands-on experience with general residential maintenance, such as painting, general plumbing/electrical/drywall/general contracting property maintenance is highly desirable. Excellent understanding of schematics, technical manuals, and building blueprints. Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience in managing maintenance teams or projects. Effective communication skills in English to coordinate tasks clearly with team members , vendors and management. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards.
