Hotel Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and lighting Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests and work orders Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facility issues in a timely manner Complete preventative maintenance tasks to help reduce downtime and repairs Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in clean and safe condition Document completed work orders and communicate updates to management and other departments Support overall safety and compliance with hotel standards and regulations Assist with special projects, renovations, or emergency repairs as needed Skills Previous hotel or hospitality maintenance experience preferred Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Hands-on ability to perform repairs and maintenance tasks Good time management and ability to prioritize work orders Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills with staff, management, and other departments Ability to effectively coordinate with other departments to support hotel operations Ability to stay calm and effective in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with tools, equipment, and standard maintenance procedures Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical training or certification a plus Ability to work flexible schedules, including: Sun/Mon 8am-4pm, Tue/Wed off, Th/Fri/Sat 11am-7pm Join our team and become a key part of keeping our hotel running smoothly!
