Job Description

Hotel Security Position Summary The Hotel Security is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, employees, vendors, and hotel property. This role involves monitoring hotel premises, responding to emergencies, enforcing hotel policies, and providing exceptional guest service while ensuring the protection of people and assets. Key Responsibilities Patrol hotel property, including guest floors, parking areas, entrances, and public spaces. Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, accidents, and guest concerns. Assist with crowd control and conflict resolution in a professional manner. Prepare accurate incident, accident, and daily activity reports. Enforce hotel safety policies and procedures. Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency responders when necessary. Provide assistance to guests and employees, including directions, escorts, and emergency support. Conduct investigations related to theft, vandalism, or suspicious activity. Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and evacuation procedures. Monitor access control and secure restricted areas. Support hotel management during special events and high-occupancy periods. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous security, law enforcement, military, or hospitality experience preferred. Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Basic computer and report-writing skills. CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. Reporting Structure Reports to the Security Supervisor, Security Manager, or Director of Operations. Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
