Welder/Fabricator/Machine Operators/Painters/Material Handlers/CNC Machine Operator/Bandsaw Operator

D5 Steel, Inc. is hiring reliable, hardworking team members as we prepare to open our new fabrication shop! We are hiring for multiple production roles, including Welders, Fabricators, Machine Operators, Painters, Material Handlers, CNC Machine Operators, and Bandsaw Operators . Ideal candidates are dependable, safety-minded, willing to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced steel fabrication environment. Duties Responsibilities may vary depending on position and experience level, but may include: Weld, fabricate, cut, grind, paint, move, and prepare steel materials Operate shop equipment such as CNC machines, bandsaws, drills, grinders, forklifts, overhead cranes, and other fabrication equipment Read and interpret basic shop drawings, measurements, and work orders Load, unload, stage, and organize materials Measure, cut, and prepare steel parts according to specifications Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet shop standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow company safety procedures and wear required PPE Assist other departments as needed to support production schedules Qualifications Previous shop, welding, fabrication, manufacturing, or steel experience preferred Ability to read a tape measure accurately Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required Comfortable working with steel, tools, and production equipment Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus CNC, bandsaw, welding, painting, or fabrication experience is a plus Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team Must follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work on your feet for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed Ability to work in a shop environment with noise, dust, heat, and moving equipment Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, and hearing protection What We Offer Full-time employment Competitive pay based on experience Regular and consistent overtime opportunities Production-based bonus on hours per ton •(Planned For Future Implementation)• 401(k) with company match Paid vacation time Paid holidays Workers' compensation coverage Opportunities to learn and grow within the company Team-oriented shop environment with steady work Schedule Full-time position.
