House Manager/ HAC

The House Manager/ HAC role is week on-week off. Founded in 1996, Families First is a non-profit organization that provides person-centered services for individuals living with disabilities. Our services promote independent living, enhance self-esteem, and cultivate community membership through caring and respectful relationships. We are seeking a House Manager to support up to 3 independent young men living with developmental disabilities in Brattleboro, Vermont. A successful House Manager is caring, patient, and has effective communication skills. They are willing to advocate for, help, support, and encourage the self-advocates to reach their goals and navigate their day. Responsibilities include primarily working with the self-advocates in their home in the evenings/nights, as well as helping them with some hygiene assistance, meal planning/prep, general housekeeping, and medication administration. This position 7 days on, 24-hour days, then 7 days off (Thursday to Thursday). Staff will have access to a separate bedroom and staff space. Staff must be able to lift 40 pounds and have a reliable, insured vehicle. There will also be other agency staff to assist with the self-advocates during the day M-F to allow staff hired for this position to take breaks during their week on. This is a salaried & benefitted position that allows staff the ability to travel or work other jobs during their off time.

Pay Range:
