We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The purpose of this role is to maintain and repair a variety of production equipment; and to implement sound solutions to multiple problems in a fast-paced environment while adhering to company policies based on safety, environmental stewardship, and teamwork.
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Ensures current machinery is running and resolves any issues quickly & under pressure to minimize down time Ensures that new packaging machinery, equipment, and facilities are properly installed and maintained for efficient production Troubleshoots, investigates, and reports breakdowns Manages and maintains the electronic logging and tracking of maintenance activities and inventory through the maintenance management system (MVP Plant) Responsible and accountable for asset management, including inventory of spares. Performs scheduled maintenance during hours outside normal production schedule as needed to maintain proper machine PM and maintenance needs Follows all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding Places purchase orders for production parts and supplies Acts as a point of contact for vendors for additional technical support on production equipment Trains production personnel on technical aspects of equipment setup, use, and autonomous maintenanceKEY COMPETENCIES
Excellent communication skills Intermediate computer skills (including but not limited to ERP, Word, Excel, Email). Strong attention to detail and ability to forward think for planning purposes Proven manufacturing capabilities are desired Basic knowledge of machine electrical/pneumatic control principals Possess manual dexterity and visual acuity to interact with drawings, machine controls, computer screens, and other fine details. Position requires lifting and/or carrying up to 40 pounds. Requires standing for 8 or more hours. May include use of powered lift devices or lift trucks. EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION andCREDENTIALS
Technical school diploma or at least 3 years equivalent work experience required in a manufacturing facility. Experience using maintenance management systems. Experience in effectively using precision tools, computer interfaces, and hand tools The target pay range for this role is $24.00 - $26.00 per hour. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
