Monday through Friday, approximately 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Client is open to more hours, and full-time may be preferred based on the scope of organization needed.Compensation:
$45 to $50 per hour, based on experience A private household in Menlo Park, California is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and detail-oriented Housekeeper / Household Organizer to help restore order and maintain a well-run home. The client is a hands-on mother with children who recently moved into a new home and needs someone who can step in with confidence, assist with organization projects, and provide consistent household support. This role is ideal for someone who is professional, efficient, hardworking, positive, and able to take initiative without needing constant direction. About the Household Private household with a mother and her children Two golden retrievers in the home Professional cleaning team comes weekly Role focuses on detailed upkeep, organization, laundry, errands, and household reset support Client is looking for someone calm, capable, discreet, and nonjudgmental Key Responsibilities Assist with large-scale home organization projects Create practical and thoughtful storage solutions Organize closets, drawers, pantry, kitchen spaces, toys, children's areas, and household storage areas Maintain a clean and organized kitchen Load and unload dishwasher as needed Clean out and organize the pantry Handle laundry, folding, and putting laundry away Drop off and retrieve dry cleaning Assist with general housekeeping, including dusting, making beds, wiping down surfaces, and keeping the home tidy Clean the oven, wipe down walls, wash window screens, and handle detailed household tasks as needed Monitor household supplies and restock when needed Assist with light errands such as grocery or household item pick-ups Help keep the home feeling calm, organized, and smoothly run Ideal Candidate Extremely professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Strong background in private home housekeeping and organization Experienced with larger home organization projects Smart, positive, efficient, and hardworking Nonjudgmental, emotionally mature, and discreet Able to work independently without constant direction Comfortable taking ownership of projects after initial guidance is given Creative and practical with organization and storage solutions Comfortable working around children and dogs Takes pride in creating order, calm, and structure in a home Prior private home, estate, or high-end household experience preferred This is a wonderful opportunity for a polished and capable household professional who enjoys bringing order, efficiency, and peace of mind to a busy private home.
