Housekeeper

Provides for optimum cleanliness, sanitation, order and an aesthetically pleasing hospital environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with key constituents and all levels of management and employees. Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints. Ability to work independently. Basic level computer proficiency and ability to use email for department communications. Ability to operate and/or willingness to learn the operation of housekeeping equipment; floor buffers, waxing and polishing machines, and other cleaning devices. Adheres to standards of safety and infection control that meet federal and state regulations. Good organizational skills Knowledge of and ability to use all housekeeping powered equipment Good time management skills Ability to demonstrate positive customer services skills Must be able to read, write, and follow directions and/or oral instructions in English.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

High School graduate or equivalent preferred Minimum of one year of previous housekeeping experience preferred.
