Housekeeper

Job Overview The Terrace Inn 1911 is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team for the season. This role is essential in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment that reflects the charm and high standards of our historic inn. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining guest rooms and common areas with care and consistency. Your attention to detail, efficiency, and positive attitude will directly contribute to the overall guest experience and reputation of the property. This is a seasonal position, with compensation based on experience. Responsibilities Clean and prepare guest rooms and common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Refresh rooms for stayovers and complete full turnovers within designated timeframes Maintain floors through proper cleaning techniques to ensure a polished appearance Clean and disinfect bathrooms and high-touch surfaces to meet sanitation standards Remove trash and manage waste disposal in accordance with property procedures Respond promptly and professionally to guest or team requests when needed Assist with maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and report any maintenance or housekeeping concerns Experience & Qualifications Previous housekeeping, custodial, or janitorial experience preferred Hotel or hospitality experience is a strong plus Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of detail and consistency Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential What We're Looking For Someone who takes pride in their work Compensation Pay is based on experience Opportunity for consistent seasonal hours Supportive, team-oriented work environment A team player who shows up and gets it done Attention to detail and a sense of urgency A positive attitude and willingness to learn
