As a Housekeeper on the Perioperative Team, you'll support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier ®. More about our team Sovah Health is a regional health care delivery system with 2 hospital campuses - Danville and Martinsville. Each facility has a 24/7 Emergency Room, Outpatient Imaging Center, and over 20 primary and specialty care physician clinics. Our Danville location is also a teaching hospital that trains medical students and physician residents specializing in family and internal medicine. How you'll contribute A Housekeeper who excels in this role: Maintains a safe and clean environment including cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the Surgical Unit, including procedural areas, patient rooms, offices, rest rooms, corridors, floors, and other areas as assigned. Follows established cleaning and disinfecting methods. Adheres to all safety protocols and health regulations. Assists in the turnover cleaning of the operating room. Orders and stocks supplies and linens. Transports and delivers surgical specimens according to hospital protocol.
