Mt Carmel, Utah. Zion Mountain Ranch is an elevated sanctuary just 3 miles from the East Entrance of Zion National Park, set on a roaming bison preserve. Guests can choose from thoughtfully crafted cabins and bespoke lodges and enjoy on‑site experiences including guided horseback riding, bison feedings, and Cordwood, a field‑to‑fork restaurant featuring ingredients from the ranch's organic gardens. Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Manager at Zion Mountain Ranch is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and overall presentation of all cabins, lodges and ZMR facilities. This position leads a team that includes Inspectors, Housekeepers, Housepersons, and the Laundry Supervisor, fostering a culture of excellence in service delivery and environmental stewardship. The ideal candidate will maintain high housekeeping standards, manage departmental budgets, and implement training programs to enhance team performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the housekeeping team, including Inspectors, Housekeepers, Housepersons, and Laundry. Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance evaluations to ensure staff meet established service standards. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and effective communication. Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and protocols to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the lodge, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure adherence to cleanliness and quality standards. Oversee the laundry operations to ensure timely and efficient processing of linens and towels. Manage departmental budgets, including labor, supplies, and equipment, to meet financial goals. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens, coordinating with other managers on the Senior Management Team for timely procurement. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards. Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding housekeeping services in a professional and courteous manner. Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a safe work environment for all staff. Lead training sessions on proper cleaning techniques, use of cleaning chemicals, and safety protocols. Maintain open lines of communication with other department heads to coordinate activities and address any operational challenges. Prepare reports on housekeeping performance, including occupancy rates, cleanliness scores, and staff productivity. Other Duties as

Work Location:
Due to the in-person nature of the hospitality business, housing will be provided on-site, and commuting from the local vicinity is also acceptable. Due to the nature of our business, Zion Mountain Ranch is open every day. You must be prepared to work a schedule which may include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Ability to get along well with people, be honest, punctual, and reliable. Ability to remain calm and friendly. Ability to adapt to changing work conditions. Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment. Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid/active driver's License Previous experience in housekeeping management or a supervisory role in the hospitality industry preferred Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and safety standards. Excellent leadership, organizational skills, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using housekeeping management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
