Housekeeping Supervisor

Job description Housekeeping Supervisor Weekend availability is required.

Position Summary:

Assists in the daily operation of the Housekeeping Department in a timely and professional manner. Enforces with proper procedures all hotel and departmental work assignments and policies.

TASKS AND COMPETENCIES

Responsible to inspect all guest rooms assigned to them in a shift. Handles and delegates guest requests. Responsible for the overall cleanliness of hotel property including but not limited to guest rooms, corridors, public areas, etc. Responsible for the proper requisitioning of all supplies needed for the Housekeeping Department as well as inventory control. Assist at all times with housekeeping special projects and emergencies that may arise. Responsible for issuing disciplinary action, and following through on all housekeeping personnel paperwork and payroll.
