Housekeeping/Cleaning

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping/Cleaning professional to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. Prior experience in hospitality, janitorial, or industrial cleaning is highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces across various areas Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, and other designated areas Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and buffing floors to ensure they are spotless and well-maintained Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products as needed Follow established safety procedures and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or hospitality environments is preferred Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, sealing, waxing, and buffing floors Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards or industrial cleaning practices is a plus Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning efficiently Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and performing repetitive tasks over extended periods Knowledge of custodial equipment operation and safety protocols is desirable This position offers an opportunity to contribute to maintaining high standards of cleanliness while working in a professional environment.
