In this vital role, you will be the backbone of maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure that all public areas, guest corridors, and service spaces are spotless, well-organized, and inviting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a positive guest experience by providing exceptional custodial support with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and hospitality excellence. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and restrooms using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies. Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure they are spotless and safe for guests and staff. Assist with replenishing supplies in guest corridors and public spaces to promote comfort and convenience. Support housekeeping staff by removing trash, restocking amenities, and ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards. Conduct routine inspections of service areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly. Follow health and safety protocols diligently to uphold sanitation standards across all areas of the property. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during busy periods or special events. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is highly preferred. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, extractors, or scrubbers is advantageous. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and proper handling techniques is essential. Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervising custodial teams is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings. Familiarity with hotel operations or hospitality standards helps ensure seamless service delivery.
