In this vital role, you will support the housekeeping department by ensuring all public areas, guest rooms, and back-of-house spaces are spotless, well-organized, and inviting. Duties Assist housekeeping staff by delivering linens, supplies, and equipment to guest rooms and public areas efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, restrooms, stairwells, and other public spaces through sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal. Support floor care activities including vacuuming carpets and polishing hard floors to ensure a pristine appearance. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as making beds, replenishing amenities, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces in guest areas. Ensure all janitorial supplies are stocked and organized for easy access by housekeeping teams. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution. Uphold health and safety standards by following proper cleaning procedures and using appropriate cleaning agents. Experience Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning methods is advantageous. Experience with floor care equipment such as vacuums, buffers, or polishers is a plus. Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service principles enhances your ability to support guest satisfaction. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards across all areas. Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is beneficial for success in this role.
