We are seeking a motivated and bilingual HR Generalist or Specialist (depending on skills & experience) to support daily human resources operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for an HR professional who is passionate about recruiting, onboarding, medical leave compliance, and workforce support. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, highly organized, and capable of building strong relationships with employees and management while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
COMPENSATION
: $28 - $35/hour
DOE RESPONSIBILITIES
: Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation in UKG Conduct new hire orientations and ensure new employees have the information needed to be successful Assist with employee leave management Respond to employee questions and assist with workplace concerns professionally Assist with HR events such as birthday club, holiday events and other company activities Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate confidential records Partner with supervisors and management to support workforce needs Assist with HR projects, audits, and policy updates as needed Answer switchboard as needed when receptionist is out of the office Assist and coordinate company events and special projects to enhance company culture Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation in UKG Conduct new hire orientations and ensure new employees have the information needed to be successful Assist with employee leave management Respond to employee questions and assist with workplace concerns professionally Assist with HR events such as birthday club, holiday events and other company activities Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate confidential records Partner with supervisors and management to support workforce needs Assist with HR projects, audits, and policy updates as needed Answer switchboard as needed when receptionist is out of the office Assist and coordinate company events and special projects to enhance company culture
QUALIFICATIONS
: Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred At least 3-5 years of progressively responsible human resources experience in a generalist or specialist capacity within a manufacturing environment with a large number of employees Proficiency with UKG Pro and Workforce Management Experience in recruitment, onboarding and leave management required Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) SHRM SCP or SPHR certification a plus but it is not necessary Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
