Job Description
Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for more than 85 years. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a HR Operations Assistant to join our Corporate team. The primary goal of this position is to provide support to the operations of Human Resources by ensuring timely and accurate data entry in the HR systems of record. This will also happen by documenting policies and procedures across the organization. These objectives will be achieved by building trust and working closely with the HR, Accounting, and Technology teams.
Collaborate with the HR team to improve efficiency and standardize processesCooperate with the accounting and payroll teams to develop and organize processes that overlap between the departments.
Support the rollout of HR department related initiatives and communications.
Provide administrative support to key HR programs including managing distribution lists for company benefits and company-wide communications.
Manage the monthly birthday and anniversary card distribution for all divisions.
LOCATION
Fort Recovery or Van Wert, OH (will have to train in Fort Recovery)SHIFT HOURS
Monday through Thursday (16-20 hours/week)STARTING HOURLY RATE
$16 - $17/hrADDITIONAL PAY
Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)Job Functions:
Utilize the UKG system to enter team member HR actions including 401k, Benefits, New Hire/Re-Hire, Employee Information Updates and Payroll Updates. Utilize the UKG system to complete routine data entry, report generation and audit activities to ensure the accuracy of team member data.Collaborate with the HR team to improve efficiency and standardize processesCooperate with the accounting and payroll teams to develop and organize processes that overlap between the departments.
