85 per Hour for NJ Compliance) Job Overview The "Completion Loop" Specialist We are seeking a technologically-sophisticated HR professional who views operations as a series of optimizable processes. This role is designed for a "Pioneer" who can leverage Microsoft 365 and Power Automate to build self-sustaining HR and Payroll loops. You are not just managing people; you are building the digital infrastructure that supports them. You must be exceptionally formula-savvy in Excel and obsessed with the "Completion Loop" ensuring no task is considered done until the output is verified, filed, and stakeholders are notified.
Key Responsibilities Automation & Workflow Design:
Utilize Microsoft 365 Power Automate to create automated workflows for HR approvals, payroll notifications, and contract routing.
Master Data Management:
Maintain and optimize the Master Excel Spreadsheet for the agency, using advanced formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables) to track human capital data with 100% accuracy.
SOP Development:
Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for every administrative function within the CEO team's purview.
Full-Cycle Talent Sourcing:
Independently interview and sort candidates, moving beyond basic screening to provide deep-dive analysis on cultural and technical fit before leadership review.
The Completion Loop:
Take full ownership of assigned tasks (e.g., payroll inquiries, W-4 updates, or contract drafts), ensuring every item reaches a definitive conclusion without executive follow-up.
Payroll & Accounts Ownership:
Monitor HR and Accounts inboxes daily, taking responsibility for bi-weekly payroll accuracy and compliance with Pennsylvania and New Jersey law.
Contract Lifecycle Management:
Draft, format, and audit employment and contractor agreements (Word format), ensuring all specific roles and responsibilities are clearly outlined in technical appendices. Qualifications 1-3 years of HR Generalist experience with a heavy emphasis on payroll and process engineering.
Power Automate Mastery:
Demonstrated experience building multi-step automation flows within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Excel Expert:
"Formula savvy" is a requirement; you should be comfortable building dynamic models and master sheets.
SOP Creation:
Experience document-mapping and writing clear, actionable SOPs for complex administrative tasks.
Interviewer Skills:
Proven ability to lead interviews and provide critical analysis of candidate pools.
Compliance Literacy:
Solid understanding of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), HIPAA, and state-specific workers' compensation regulations.
Compensation & Benefits Introductory Period:
All employment begins with a 90-day introductory period to evaluate mutual fit and performance.
At-Will Employment:
Employment with New Beginnings is at-will.
PTO & Sick Leave:
Eligible for up to 3 paid sick days annually (after 90 days) and 40 hours of PTO after 12 months of continuous service.
Holidays:
6 Paid Observed Holidays per year for full-time employees (after 90 days).
