Department of the Air Force Air Force District of Washington NAF Human Resources Office Summary This position is a Non-appropried Fund (NAF) position and assigned to the NAF Human Resources Office. It is a developmental position with promotion potential to the Human Resources Assistant, NF-0203-03 grade after the completion of required training. Utilizes automed recruitment tool. Builds and edits user accounts. Generes vacancies for job announcements. Enters applicable position and organizional da for vacancy. Crees job opportunity announcements. Verifies applicant eligibilities in accordance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures. Produces applicant lists for selecting official. Performs onboarding tasks. Inities and monitors local installion records checks. May initie background investigions in NBIS and build employee profile in CSO IT. Monitors stus of background investigions. Conducts in-processing briefing. Assists in the completion of employment documents.Position Management:
Enters classified position descriptions into automed library. Verifies signures on position descriptions and the most up-to-de Standardized Position Descriptions and Position Guides are being used. Uploads supporting documents (i.e., evaluion stement; org chart; position designion tool (PDT) result, etc.) into the position description casefile/record. Loces position descriptions in the library. Routes all classificion requests to approprie point of contact.DCPDS:
Enters personnel da into an automed personnel da system. Completes applicant and position builds using da provided. Verifies documention for personnel action. Codes personnel actions in accordance with applicable policies and procedures. Processes a variety of personnel requests and actions. Generes personnel reports. Identifies and corrects discrepancies in personnel da.Clerical/Admin:
Performs front desk responsibilities. Provides customer service assistance to customers. Makes copies, scans documents, uploads and files documents. Distributes copies of personnel actions. Provides general informion regarding position vacancies, applicion procedures, etc. Operes a computer remote terminal and word processing equipment. Receives and checks documents for completion and accuracy in accordance with applicable laws and regulions. Contacts approprie sources to secure missing da or documents. Prepares in-processing documents. Crees and maintains position control registers, office files, group insurance files, etc. May requisition forms and post changes to directives.
