Job Description
Job Summary The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will support a fast-paced wire harness manufacturing environment by driving HR initiatives that strengthen workforce capability, support operation excellence, and enhance employee engagement. This role partners closely with production leadership to ensure HR Practices align with business goals and the unique demands of high-mix, high volume manufacturing. Duties
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for ICA and all locations, building strong relationships with each location
- Understand production workflow, labor needs and skill requirements specific to wire harness assembly
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and recruit skilled assemblers, technicians, and support staff.
- Conduct interviews, coordinate assessments, and ensure timely hiring decisions.
- Lead onboarding and orientation programs tailored to manufacturing and safety requirements
- Provide guidance on employee relation issues, conflict resolution, and corrective action in accordance with company policies.
- Coach supervisors on effective leadership, communication, and performance feedback.
- Support annual performance review cycles and development planning
- Identify skill gaps in production teams and coordinate training related to assembly techniques, quality standards, safety and compliance.
- Support leadership development initiatives for frontline supervisors
- Maintain HR records, ensuring compliance with federal and state labor laws such as FMLA and ADA.
- Supports audits related to ISO or customer specific requirements common in the wire harness industry.
- Assist with annual compensation planning, benefit administration and HR and EHS reporting
- Promote a positive workplace culture that supports safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Lead engagement and retention strategies tailored to manufacturing teams.
- Other duties as assigned by manager. Experience
- A bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field
- 2-4 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or similar industrial environment
- Strong understanding of HR fundamentals: employee relations, recruiting, performance management and compliance.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
Pay:
$65,000.00- $70,000.
