This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on across multiple areas of Human Resources while partnering closely with leadership and employees alike. This position offers a collaborative environment, strong leadership visibility, and the opportunity to contribute to both strategic initiatives and daily HR operations. This is a hybrid position based in the Portland, OR area. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, with a targeted base salary range of $95,000-$110,000, plus comprehensive benefits.
What You'll Be Doing:
Support day-to-day HR operations across employee relations, onboarding, benefits, compliance, and performance management Partner with managers and employees to provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices Coordinate and facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation to create a positive employee experience Assist with employee engagement initiatives, culture-building efforts, and retention strategies Support recruitment efforts including scheduling, candidate communication, and onboarding coordination Maintain and update employee records, HRIS systems, and personnel documentation Partner on leave administration, accommodations, and benefits-related processes Assist with performance review cycles, employee development initiatives, and training coordination Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies Support HR projects and process improvement initiatives as the organization continues to grow
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in a generalist or broad HR support capacity Experience supporting multiple HR functions including employee relations, onboarding, benefits, and compliance Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail Experience working with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite A collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred PHR, SHRM-CP, or related certification is a plus Benefits Full-time employees may receive: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Life insurance and short-term & long-term disability coverage Wellness programs and employee assistance resources Paid holidays and generous PTO Professional development and growth opportunities
Pay Details:
