In this role, you will lead comprehensive human resources initiatives, foster positive employee relations, and ensure the seamless delivery of HR services. Duties Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resources programs including benefits, leave, badging, training credentials and more. Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, supervisors, and external sources, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Daily administration of employee records with HRIS, training and other software programs. Understand and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Manage badges, shipyard and facility accesses, and background checks. Assist with Facility Security program and administration. Promote a positive work culture with a focus on company core values. Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and modern technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Support recruiting efforts in job post, interviews, onboarding and career pathing. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Exhibit exemplary client service skills, to all people, regardless of level. Professional, concise, and effective written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and related systems. Education & Experience 5 Years of experience in Human Resources with 100+ employees. Formal human resources training and/or education program, required. PHR or SPHR, certification desired. Familiarity or proficiency with Sage CRE300, BambooHR or HCSS is a plus. Experience as an AFSO or FSO is a plus.

Pay:

$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
