ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW
Where Indiana Intersects With The World… Our International Center Intern Mentors will help U.S. students achieve an international business experience and international students achieve a U.S. business experience, right here in Indianapolis!

POSITION SUMMARY
The selected intern works in direct support of the International Center's Senior Vice President of Operations & Chief of Staff and Leadership Team, and is involved in general business activities, program deliveries, human resources tasks, and organizational projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Research and analyze information, prepare, and present findings to supervisor and staff Participate in operations, human resources, program, and service delivery processes Manage organizational projects Attend accounting and development meetings Coordinate outreach events for prospective interns, advisors, and partners
DESIRED LEARNING OUTCOMES
Understanding U.S. and international business and cultural diversities Understanding non-profit administration, business development, revenue management, program management, client service delivery, and Board governance Understanding human resources operations including recruitment and onboarding
DESIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Business writing Interpersonal communications Knowledge of business practices and economic terms
EXPECTATIONS
Be on time, be present, be engaged Communicate, participate, support your team and the mission
PAY & SCHEDULE
$15/hour, plus $80 monthly parking stipend The Center's office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday Interns work an average of 20 hours per week during the fall and spring terms, and an average of 30 hours per week during the summer term Hybrid work possible, based on project needs and availability
