Summary Job Title:
Field Operations & Desktop Support Technician Role Overview We are seeking a Field Operations & Desktop Support Technician to serve as the primary technical point of contact for our employees. You will be the "face of IT," ensuring that our end-users have a world-class digital experience whether they are in the office, remote, or traveling. This is a proactive support role. You won't just be waiting for tickets to come in-you will leverage data to identify potential hardware/software bottlenecks, ensure all devices meet security and patching standards, and guide users through the adoption of new IT services. If you have a high "learning agility," a passion for troubleshooting complex technical issues, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities Endpoint Support & User Experience Technical Advocacy:
Act as the primary interface for all hardware, operating system, and enterprise application inquiries. Assist with new hire onboarding and hardware provisioning.Proactive Remediation:
Monitor endpoint health (security patches, driver updates, and application versions) to prevent issues before they impact productivity.Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve complex issues across a mixed environment (Windows, Mac, and iOS). Provide hands-on support for peripherals and mobile devices.Operational Excellence Communication:
Partner with internal infrastructure teams to escalate and resolve complex technical hurdles. Act as a translator, turning technical jargon into clear, actionable advice for our customers.Project Adoption:
Support the rollout of new IT initiatives. Educate users on the effective use of M365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) and other enterprise tools.Continuous Improvement:
Use data analytics to identify trends in user issues and provide recommendations to optimize our support processes.Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma/GED required.Experience Baseline:
Previous experience in a Help Desk or customer-facing technical support role.Technical Mastery:
Proven expertise supporting both Windows and Mac environments; deep knowledge of M365 ecosystem.Certifications:
oCompTIA A+ oApple Certified Support Professional oMicrosoft 365 Fundamentals Preferred Attributes Excellent interpersonal skills-you have a "customer-service first" mindset and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
