Job Description

The Senior Vice President of Talent and Chief People Officer is a mission driven executive who leads the people strategy for the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis. This role serves as a key member of the Strategic Leadership Team and provides strategic guidance on culture, workforce planning, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. The CPO oversees the full talent lifecycle, directs total rewards, ensures compliance, and drives initiatives that strengthen engagement, performance, and inclusion across the association. This leader advances a high performing culture grounded in the YMCA values and supports long term organizational success through thoughtful planning, coaching, and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business, or related field required; Master's preferred. Ten to fifteen years of progressive leadership experience in HR or talent. Demonstrated success advising senior leaders and influencing across diverse levels. Experience in mission driven or nonprofit environments preferred.
