Job Description
The Vice President of Sales & Marketing is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and strengthening brand visibility within the label printing industry. This executive leader oversees the development and execution of sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and customer relationship management to support the company's long-term growth objectives. As a key member of the leadership team, the Vice President of Sales & Marketing collaborates across departments to ensure commercial strategies align with operational capabilities and customer expectations. This role also promotes a culture of professionalism, accountability, and teamwork that supports strong cross-functional collaboration and organizational effectiveness. The following duties represent the primary responsibilities of the position. Other duties may be assigned. Sales Leadership Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve short- and long-term revenue objectives. Lead, mentor, and support the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in key market segments such as food & beverage, healthcare, retail, and logistics. Strengthen relationships with existing customers and expand account growth opportunities. Analyze market conditions, customer needs, and competitive activity to inform sales strategy and pricing decisions. Collaborate with estimating, production, and customer service teams to ensure effective project coordination and a positive customer experience. Marketing Oversight Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing initiatives across digital, print, and trade show channels. Manage brand positioning to ensure consistent messaging and market presence. Utilize data-driven insights to improve lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention. Support product marketing initiatives related to new label technologies, materials, and finishing capabilities. Leadership & Organizational Alignment Provide leadership and direction for the commercial team while modeling professionalism, integrity, and accountability. Promote collaboration across departments to support shared organizational goals. Work with executive leadership to align sales and marketing strategies with operational capacity and long-term business objectives. Encourage effective communication and problem-solving across teams to improve efficiency and remove operational barriers.
