The HR Generalist's primary role is as the campus contact for all HR-related issues for all associates, and to lead an associate-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes exceptional everyday experiences through engagement, empowerment, continuous improvement, and the recruitment, retention and ongoing development of a superior workforce. Be familiar with all HR-related policies, procedures and regulations, so that these can be referenced throughout the course of the work Initiate campus activities that create a work environment which encourages engagement Manage pipeline of applicants and interview process, to ensure adequate staffing Partner with campus leadership to increase retention by creating exceptional everyday experiences for associates; serves as adviser to campus leadership team regarding HR issues Address and resolve associate relations issues; be involved in all steps of progressive discipline Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements concerning associates Lead associate orientation to organization Required Education and Experience College degree required or extended related experience, in related field preferred. Demonstrated familiarity with employment law. PHR preferred.
