Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid) $250,000•$280,000 + Bonus Our client is a global organization with a diverse international workforce and a strong commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and continued growth. The organization is seeking an accomplished VP, Global Human Resources to lead and advance its global HR strategy across North America, Europe, and Asia. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for a strategic, business-minded HR executive who can effectively balance global strategy, regional execution, and organizational priorities . The VP, Global Human Resources will lead regional HR teams, partner closely with HR Centers of Excellence, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. In addition to overseeing the global HR function, this individual will serve as a strategic HR Business Partner to key business leaders, providing guidance on organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, leadership development, workforce planning, succession planning, culture, and organizational change. The ideal candidate will be a transformational HR leader with strong global experience, executive presence, and demonstrated business acumen who can build high-performing teams and drive meaningful organizational results.
OVERVIEW OF THE VP, GLOBAL HUMAN RESOURCES ROLE
Develop and execute a global HR strategy aligned with business objectives and long-term organizational goals. Lead and develop HR teams across multiple international regions while promoting consistency, collaboration, and accountability. Translate global HR strategy into effective regional execution while balancing global standards with local requirements. Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leaders on organizational, talent, workforce, and employee-related matters. Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver globally aligned and locally effective HR programs and solutions. Lead organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, talent management, and leadership development initiatives. Strengthen the organization's leadership pipeline and build capabilities necessary to support continued growth. Drive HR transformation and continuous improvement , including digitalization, automation, process standardization, and technology initiatives. Promote a high-performance culture focused on accountability, engagement, development, collaboration, and organizational effectiveness. Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, company policies, and HR governance requirements across global locations. Provide strategic HR leadership through organizational change, restructuring, growth initiatives, and other significant business transformations. Leverage HR data, analytics, and organizational insights to identify trends and support informed business decisions. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and operating models to increase efficiency, scalability, and employee experience. Build strong relationships and effectively influence stakeholders across functions, geographies, and organizational levels. Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team and contribute to broader business strategy and organizational planning.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE VP, GLOBAL HUMAN RESOURCES
15+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience , including significant experience at the VP or comparable executive level. Demonstrated experience leading HR across multiple international regions and geographically dispersed teams . Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred , particularly within a complex, multi-site, global organization. Proven success serving as a strategic HR Business Partner to senior and executive leadership. Strong expertise in organizational design, talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, and leadership development. Demonstrated success leading HR transformation, process improvement, and technology initiatives . Strong understanding of international HR practices, employment regulations, and workforce considerations. Experience supporting operational environments with diverse employee populations, including corporate and/or hourly workforces. Experience building, leading, and developing high-performing HR teams. Strong business acumen with the ability to connect people strategy to organizational and business results. #
