Payroll Administrator / Benefits Specialist U.S. Merchants - 2.3 Beverly Hills, CA Job Details Full-time $95,000 - $100,000 a year 12 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Employee relationship building Microsoft Office Administrative experience Task prioritization Recruiting Organizational skills Kronos Payroll record maintenance Full Job Description Payroll Administrator / Benefits Specialist Manage employee benefits programs. Knowledge of different employee benefit programs and options;
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing and hiring. Facilitate employment onboarding
  • Understanding of payroll withholdings and set up;
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State labor laws and employment standards.
  • Assist with preparation, updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting and terminating Assist with handling of worker's comp claims;
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files.
  • Review and monitor compliance with wage and hour policies. Assist with processing of payroll for multiple locations; Payroll reporting and tax filings as required Other duties as assigned. Requirements
  • College degree preferred or a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Benefits Administration, HR and payroll with increasing levels of administrative support.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with management, employees, supervisors, and other departments.
  • Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision.
  • Must be a self-starter with ability to think ahead.
  • Excellent written and communications skills
  • Outstanding administrative and organizational skills with ability to balance rapidly shifting priorities.
  • Proficiency in the use and application of MS Office, Payroll & Benefits software;
  • Use of 3rd party Payroll Software such as Paylocity or UKG a Plus;
  • Processing of large of number of employee payroll required
