We are seeking a Leave of Absence Representative to support employees and leaders with leave administration and the Return-to-Work (RTW) process. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of federal and state leave laws, excellent customer service skills, and experience working with HR systems. Key Responsibilities Administer and support various Leave of Absence (LOA) requests and Return-to-Work processes. Provide responsive and compassionate customer service to employees and leaders regarding leave-related questions. Apply FMLA, CFRA, and applicable federal and California state leave laws and company policies. Assist employees with CA EDD SDI and PFL benefit programs. Respond to employee inquiries through phone and email and track leave usage in timekeeping systems. Manage LOA information, extensions, cancellations, and returns in Workday and HR information systems . Review daily and intermittent leave reports from the Matrix portal and confirm leave usage and available balances. Confirm

eligibility and work with leave administrators to resolve claim denials when appropriate. Monitor employees approaching their return-to-work dates and send required notifications and instructions. Track employees who have not responded to RTW requirements and escalate issues as needed. Support maternity and paternity leave communications, including instructions for adding newborns to medical benefits. Review medical certification and release documentation and assist with accommodation-related processes. Prepare and maintain job aids, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and LOA communications. Participate in meetings with leave-management partners and help resolve outstanding issues. Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and medical information. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. At least 1 year of Leave of Absence administration experience . Knowledge of FMLA, CFRA, federal and California state LOA laws . Experience with HR information systems, preferably Workday . Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Ability to handle confidential, sensitive, and personal information appropriately.
Pay:
$25.00 - $29.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
