Workers Compensation Biller

We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry Level Workers' Compensation Biller to join our team on a contract basis in Torrance, California. This role is dedicated to supporting patient financial services and ensuring smooth coordination of workers' compensation claims. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in handling authorizations, managing progress reports, and interacting with patients to provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and submit authorization requests for workers' compensation claims.
• Review, interpret, and manage progress reports, including PR2 documentation.
• Utilize relevant tools and systems to copy, paste, and submit documentation accurately.
• Process submissions through designated portals to ensure timely approvals.
• Collaborate with patients to gather necessary intake information and address financial concerns.
• Monitor and track the status of workers' compensation cases for updates.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements in all processes.
• Work with internal teams to resolve issues and streamline workflows.
• Maintain organized records of all claims and patient interactions.
• Provide clear communication and updates to patients regarding their claims.
