Hourly, Non-Exempt Pay:

$21.00 - 24.00 per hour What Is the Job? Elderly Housing Management is looking for an Occupancy Specialist to support our affordable housing community in Wolcott. This position manages the day-to-day occupancy and compliance work that keeps resident files, certifications, recertifications, waiting lists, and rental assistance accurate and on schedule. What Will You Do? Process applications and determine applicant eligibility. Complete annual and interim resident recertifications. Verify income, employment, household information, and rent calculations. Maintain accurate, compliant resident and applicant files. Manage waiting lists and help minimize vacancies. Prepare required regulatory paperwork and reports. Work directly with residents throughout the application, move-in, and recertification process. What Do You Need? Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) certification required. Experience with HUD and Tax Credit housing programs . Strong organization, communication, and customer-service skills. Comfortable working with regulatory paperwork and financial information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and housing/regulatory software. High school diploma. Valid Connecticut driver's license. Pay $21.00 - $24.00 per hour The final starting rate will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, and EHM's approved hiring range.
