• Day-to-day claims operations, including claims evaluation, adjudication and customer service in accordance with agreed quality and production standards
• Timely processing of claims and compliance with industry fair claims practices and applicable state regulations concerning the processing of claims as well as efficient processing of certificate of insurance requests - Certified Insurance Adjuster license or ability to obtain certification is required - Regular reconciliation of workers compensation claims and premiums and financial data with reporting to management • Maintaining good, professional working relationship with superiors, peers, subordinates and other department managers and personnel • Other duties as assigned by management • Minimum of five years of claims experience • Extensive product knowledge • Extensive knowledge of medical conditions and terminology • Excellent verbal and written communications skills • Excellent, professional interpersonal skills • Good computer skills • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
