Job Description
How You Will Contribute:
Lead complex renewal analyses across all lines of coverage, including non ‑ marketed and negotiated plans. Evaluate claims experience, utilization trends, and financial performance to identify risks, opportunities, and cost drivers. Develop strategic, data ‑ driven recommendations that support long ‑ term benefits planning and funding strategies. Lead the development and execution of Request for Proposal (RFP) processes for assigned clients. Analyze and compare carrier proposals, identifying competitive positioning and financial impact . Support and actively participate in carrier negotiations in partnership with the Benefits Consultant. Develop and deliver advanced financial and management reporting (scheduled and ad hoc). Present renewal analyses, performance results, and recommendations to client staff, committees, and leadership groups. Translate complex financial and healthcare data into clear, concise, and client ‑ focused insights. Partner with the Benefits Consultants in the strategic planning and design of client benefit programs. Act as a key analytical resource for assigned clients, supporting ongoing decision ‑ making and plan optimization. Contribute to the evaluation and recommendation of new services, vendors, or program enhancements. Skills & Experience to beSuccessful:
Bachelor's degree in Finance , Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in employee benefits, analytics, brokerage, or consulting. Advanced experience with r enewal and financial analysis, c laims and utilization reporting, and RFP development and carrier evaluations. Strong knowledge of f ully insured and self ‑ funded benefit plans, and e mployee benefits regulations (ACA, COBRA, etc.). Public sector experience preferred.
