Job Description:

Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client for a Precertification Specialist to support a busy healthcare operations team. This role focuses on securing insurance approvals, ensuring documentation accuracy, and maintaining communication with both patients and payers.

Qualifications:

Prior experience handling insurance authorizations or pre-certifications in a healthcare setting Familiarity working with insurance carriers and payer systems Strong customer service skills, preferably in a medical or patient-facing environment Comfortable managing multiple tasks and meeting daily productivity expectations Reliable attendance and ability to work independently

Key Responsibilities:

Initiate and manage prior authorization requests with insurance providers Collect and review necessary clinical and administrative documentation Track pending cases and follow up to ensure timely approvals Address and resolve authorization denials or discrepancies Communicate updates clearly with patients and insurance representatives via phone Maintain accurate records within internal systems and payer portals Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
