Job DescriptionVerify patient insurance benefits and eligibilityEnter and manage patient information within company systemsPrepare required patient documentation prior to evaluationsSupport front office teams with insurance and authorization questionsTrack and monitor patient authorizations as required by insurance plansCommunicate insurance benefit information to patients and team when neededShare updates with the team on insurance changes, policies, and processesSupport ongoing improvements to systems and workflowsAssist with insurance re-verification when neededPerform audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with verification and authorization processesQualificationsPrevious experience in healthcare, medical office, or insurance verification preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracy with data entryStrong organizational and time-management skillsComfortable working with multiple software systems and databasesAbility to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work both independently and collaboratively with team members
