Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client, a well-established organization seeking a detail-oriented Benefits & Open Enrollment Coordinator to support their Human Resources team. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with benefits administration experience who enjoys working directly with employees and supporting important HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
Job Description:
The Benefits & Open Enrollment Coordinator will support the day-to-day administration of employee benefits while serving as a resource for employees with questions regarding their benefit options and eligibility. This role will play a key part in coordinating open enrollment, maintaining accurate employee records, reviewing benefit changes, and partnering with internal teams and benefit providers. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling confidential employee information.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and support the annual open enrollment process, including employee communications, enrollment materials, and system updates. Assist employees with questions regarding medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and other benefit programs. Process benefit enrollments, changes, qualifying life events, and terminations accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain accurate employee benefit records within the HRIS and benefits administration systems. Review enrollment data and benefit elections for accuracy and identify discrepancies. Prepare reports and documentation related to benefits, enrollment, and employee eligibility. Partner with insurance carriers, benefits brokers, and third-party administrators to resolve employee questions and enrollment issues. Assist with reconciliation of benefit invoices and identify discrepancies as needed. Support new hire benefit enrollment and provide guidance on available benefit options. Communicate benefit information clearly and professionally to employees and internal teams. Maintain confidentiality of employee and benefits-related information. Assist with additional HR administrative responsibilities and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business is highly preferred 1-3 years of experience in benefits administration, HR coordination, or a related HR support role preferred. Experience supporting open enrollment strongly preferred. Working knowledge of employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans. Experience working with an HRIS or benefits administration system. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Customer-service mindset with a willingness to assist employees and answer questions.
