Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | On-site Schulte Staffing is seeking an experienced Benefits & Payroll Administrator to join an established manufacturing organization. This role will support the accurate administration of employee benefits, payroll, leave programs, and HR systems while serving as a resource for employees regarding benefits and payroll-related questions. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on benefits administration experience, understands payroll processes and compliance, and is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Administer employee benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations Support bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll processing Review timekeeping records, wage calculations, deductions, and payroll reports Coordinate annual open enrollment and employee benefit communications Reconcile monthly benefit invoices and resolve discrepancies Support leave and absence administration, including FMLA/PFML, Workers' Compensation, COBRA, and disability programs Maintain accurate employee payroll and benefit records withinHRIS/HCM
systems Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing and auditing Partner with employees and management to answer payroll and benefits questions Assist with HR audits, reporting, process improvements, and special projects The position supports both benefits and payroll administration and requires knowledge of wage-and-hour and benefits regulations, including ERISA, ACA and HIPAA. Qualifications 5+ years of benefits administration experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered Experience supporting payroll administration Strong knowledge of benefits enrollment, vendor management, and compliance Experience with FMLA/PFML and other leave programs Knowledge of FLSA, COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, and applicable state regulations Experience withHRIS/HCM
systems Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel Manufacturing environment experience preferred Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, communication, and problem-solving skillsCompensation:
$70,000- 75,000 annually, based on experience.
