Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Review and confirm member eligibility information to ensure benefit records are current and accurate.
- Conduct medical insurance verification by contacting carriers, reviewing plan details, and documenting findings thoroughly.
- Coordinate benefit-related activities, including coverage validation, enrollment support, and issue resolution.
- Support COBRA and related continuation processes by tracking required actions and maintaining proper records.
- Use Microsoft Office applications and internal systems to update files, prepare reports, and manage daily workflow.
- Respond to questions from members, providers, and colleagues with clear written and verbal communication.
- Investigate discrepancies in coverage or eligibility data and follow through to achieve timely resolution.
- Maintain organized documentation and help ensure benefit processes align with operational standards and service expectations.
