Job Description
THE JOB:
The Compensation Partner acts an internal consultant for corporate and/or property management, providing guidance and recommendations on various compensation-related issues, including wage and salary administration, job analysis and job descriptions, and employee promotions.THE DAY-TO-DAY
Utilize advanced excel skills to conduct financial and employee data analysis for compensation-related projects and prepare recommendations for action. Present complex data and ideas in easy-to-understand ways utilizing internal data, market data and compensation software. Proactively seek out opportunities to serve as an internal consultant for corporate and/or property management; including providing strategic support for various compensation-related issues including job analysis, organization structure design, competitive market analysis, wage and salary administration, job descriptions and total compensation offers. Advise management on compensation best practices, Corporate Compensation policies and procedures, state and federal wage and hour regulations, and collective bargaining agreements. Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, such as Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Identify, establish and maintain productive relationships with management and peers across CoEs, divisions and properties. Model and reinforce internal and external service excellence by demonstrating best practices. Coach leaders on compensation strategy, decisions and communication, in partnership with HR stakeholders including HR Vice President, Director Talent Management and Director Organization Effectiveness. Develop presentations to present to various levels of company management. Summarize and communicate findings in a clear, concise and professional manner. Partner with leaders and HR stakeholders regarding MIP, AGI, Merit and union increases. Confirm accuracy and execute approval of compensation-related business processes, audit HR system data as needed to ensure employee records are accurate and up to date.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Has a Bachelor's Degree in Business, human resources, or a related field Have 3+ Years of prior relevant experience in Compensation or human resources experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience Previous experience working in a similar hospitality or resort setting - PreferredTHE PERKS & BENEFITS
