In-Person Only Job Description We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Payroll & Benefits Analyst with 10+ years of experience supporting PeopleSoft HCM in large U.S. government or private-sector organizations. The selected consultant will provide functional and application support for PeopleSoft HCM, with a primary focus on Payroll and Benefits , including integration with HR and Time & Labor. The role involves requirements analysis, functional specifications, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, interfaces, reporting, and knowledge transfer. Key Responsibilities Analyze and document business and functional requirements for PeopleSoft Payroll and Benefits. Develop functional specifications and communicate requirements to technical and development teams. Maintain and configure PeopleSoft Payroll and Benefits product tables. Support payroll processing, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. Support complex Benefits configuration and enrollment. Support W-2, state, federal, and FLSA reporting requirements. Design, configure, document, and test FLSA-related customizations, configurations, and rules. Support integration between PeopleSoft Time & Labor and Payroll. Develop and maintain inbound and outbound interface specifications between PeopleSoft, legacy systems, third-party systems, financial organizations, and external vendors. Develop database queries and formatted reports using
SQL, SQR, XML
Publisher, and Crystal Reports. Develop and execute unit, system, integration, and UAT test scripts and validation procedures. Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshoot Payroll and Benefits application issues. Support Payroll and Benefits-related PeopleSoft upgrade activities. Work closely with functional and technical team leads, DBAs, system administrators, integrators, project managers, and business users. Provide application and Help Desk support for HR, Payroll, and Benefits modules. Prepare functional documentation, implementation instructions, and weekly status reports. Train internal staff and provide knowledge transfer. Provide support for batch processing and system issues during normal and off-duty hours when required. Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience supporting PeopleSoft HCM as a Business/Functional Analyst in large U.S. government or private-sector IT organizations. Strong experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 . Extensive functional experience with PeopleSoft Payroll and Benefits . Strong knowledge of payroll processing, W-2, state, federal, and FLSA reporting. Experience with complex Benefits configuration and enrollment. Experience with FLSA configuration and implementation in a large organization , including an existing non-FLSA-compliant PeopleSoft HCM application. Strong understanding of Time & Labor and Payroll integration . Experience with Payroll interfaces involving financial organizations, external vendors, and other systems. Strong experience with functional requirements gathering, functional specifications, testing, and UAT. Knowledge of
SQL, SQR, XML
Publisher, and Crystal Reports . Good understanding of Oracle databases. Strong documentation, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within cross-functional teams. Ability to lead assigned initiatives from beginning to completion. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
